Happy Saturday! We made it to the weekend! What is everyone up to? Did anyone explore anywhere yesterday for Earth Day? I really wish I could have gone up to Crater Lake here in Oregon but sadly I had to work. :( It's gonna be one rainy weekend here (which I'm not complaining) so I wanted to share a DIY that you can do right in your home if you are having one of those rainy weekends yourself. Check out below this fun way to personalize some bottles you may have laying around!
The bottle I decided to use for this project was an oil dropper bottle I picked up at one my local antique stores pictured below.
As for the label, I used my go to website called picmonkey.com
You can choose different texts, overlays, symbols, etc... get creative!
I wanted to make mine a little more personal so I made up a company name that had to do with my area. I was also trying to make it even more personal and make the "est:" date our address..well clearly I don't know where I even live because that is not our address haha.

So, once you get your label how you like it, print it out and cut it to the size that fits your bottle. To apply the print to your bottle, I used some Mod Podge. This stuff is one of my favorite inventions.
I used one of these handy brushes, placed the print on the bottle and lightly brushed the Mod Podge on the paper.
Wipe off the excess Mod Podge with a wet paper towel or rag and let dry. It drys really fast!
And there you have it, a more personalized fun apothecary bottle. The possibilities are endless with this kind of project because you can create any type of label you want. Let me know if you try your hand at this or have created something similar! I'd love to see. (: Enjoy your weekend and get your DIY on!
